Badminton Alberta

The 2024 Yonex Canada Open Super 500 is North America's largest badminton tournament, held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at Winsport Olympic Center. As part of the organizing committee leading Front of House, I helped produce and run the entire tournament from start to finish.

I was responsible for managing all customer fronts and public facing areas for the Yonex Canada Open Super 500. Led and trained a team of thirty front of house staff, including ushers, box office attendants, and fan greeters.

• Managed Showpass ticketing system processing over $100,000 in ticket sales, developed framework for sponsors and guests to seamlessly access and retrieve tickets

• Supported facility transformation from ground zero to spectator ready and personally assisted with setup of badminton floor mats and nets, carpeting, and staging for the final three days

• Hosted and attended to all 300 VIP guests and sponsors during banquet dinners and at courtside boxes and facilitated communication before and after the event, ensuring a seamless experience
