ESCAPE THE POKEMON WORLD

A NEW STYLE OF ESCAPE ROOM MADE IN RPG MAKER XP

Our newest escape room has been taken to a whole other level! This is our first escape room created in RPG Maker XP and is a Pokemon styled adventure (all rights attributed to Nintendo) designed by Brennan! This game is a full, immersive experience that will take at least an hour to finish, though you may choose to save your game during your playthrough if you would like. It is recommended to play with an adult so they help you set up and can assist you as needed.

To play this game, you will need to go to this Google Drive link (https://drive.google.com/file/d/10vopKnHeg5u5vv19WCmK9N4rSKDNrmO2/view?usp=drive_link), download the zip file and extract its contents somewhere on your computer. You will then need to run Game.exe (with a Pokeball icon). PLEASE do not open or change anything in the other files and folders, it will cause the game to break.

***Please note that your computer may flag the folder or .exe file as unsafe, we promise that it is not! Because of this, you may need to give permission to allow the Game.exe file to run.

bASIC CONTROLS

Arrow Keys: Used to move the player up, down, left and right. Also used to move through the menus and choose letters in your name.

Use Key (default is C): Used to interact with objects, pick and use items from the menu, progress dialogue, and talk with others.

Back Key (default is X): Used to go back to the previous step (such as exiting the Bag and cancelling an action). If you hold down X while moving your character with the arrow keys, your character will run instead of walk.

Action Key (default is Z): Used to access the menu that has various options, such as the Bag with items in it.
